The food processing industry has been in a continuous growth since the Industrial Revolution that occurred two hundred years ago. New technologies are being invented all the time and now more than ever these both help keep foods fresh longer and alter the fresh taste and state of food. The primary technology that keeps food fresh for longer is cooling, whereas some new ones tend to use other ways resulting not spoiled fresh food. Such technologies are drying, salting, pasteurization or autoclavation. Other food processing technologies have some downfalls which is understandable but the main issue remains that we have to eat more natural foods as the ones that have been kept fresh with these technologies have a sensitive lost of taste and vitamins. Our health is the most important thing that we all should be concerned about, and nutrition is one of the most important issues today. A healthy nutrition with lots of fresh ailments which consists of vitamins, minerals and other chemical compounds is the best way to keep our body strong and healthy, the best way to feel good about ourselves and others.

The digestive system is our first way in turning all these chemical compounds into food available for the cells. Digestive juices that for an adult are close to 6 or 7 litters, first exit the internal body then are redirected to our digestive tract. Even if many compounds or elements are absorbed into the bloodstream unchanged, digestive juices release them from the food we eat and help breaking the remaining chemical bonds between ingested compounds. Any unabsorbed residues are then eliminated through the intestines, but only a small amount that was not reabsorbed, really exits the body otherwise our body would rapidly dehydrate. As a science, it tries to understand how and why diets influence specific persons and their health. It is a fact that chemical compounds like water, lipids or proteins, DNA (Deoxyribonucleic acid or deoxyribose nucleic acid) or RNA (Ribonucleic acid), and carbohydrates (sugars) are being comprised by our body. Minerals are also present in the form of salts or electrolytes, or simply as calcium, iron and zinc in plants and organisms that we eat everyday.

It has been proven that is hormonally and metabolically indicated to eat fresh unprocessed foods instead of diets based on processed foods as well as eating smaller meals more frequently. A better management of cell growth, mitosis (cell division) and maintenance is this way acquired.

Latest researches have revealed the various side effects of trans fatty acids, which now are introduced to the human diet with the technology of lipid hydrogenation. After observing the harmful effects of excess these acids while dieting, governments began banning them in the late 1990’s.

About longevity, researches have study and proved that is not the low food energy that increases it, but the efficient fat processing metabolism, and the long term efficiency of our organs. Foods for lower weight and fat

The study participants were asked to note their tolerance to the meal-replacements, their physical activity and also food intake.

Dates about Anderson and Hole’s study were reported in the Journal of the American College of Nutrition. In the third mounts of study both groups achieved weight loss to about 8.5 percent of initial body weight consuming 3.7 shakes daily which is 74 percent of the recommended amount for the soy group and tow shakes daily for the milk-based group.

This study shows that the weight loss was two times greater than the weight loss reported among individuals who use medications. Also the soy group registered a considerable lower cholesterol level and a reduction in their blood level of triglycerides while there was no change among those in the milk group.

Dr Anderson’s conclusion was that soy protein is very effective at lowering cholesterol but the milk-based shakes are almost as effective for weight loss and also better tolerated by many people.

It’s not recommended to do such a diet for more then 3 to 7 days, because they are unbalanced and are not meant to be a permanent way of eating. Concerning the Atkins diet, they say that you can keep eating as they instruct you for extended periods of time, which is not a good idea. But if you feel like, do so, keeping in mind that Atkins Fad Diet changes after the first two weeks, so look it up closely first.

While keeping the fad diet, do not overexert yourself, even if you feel fine during that time; the fad diet can become too stressful for your body and overexerting can result in some major health issues.

Another helpful piece of advice is one that concerns your mood and comfort and not your body or health. Try avoiding having dinner or any other meal with your friends when they are not keeping a diet also; you’ll find yourself in a bit weird situation if they eat their heads off and you must eat something very tiny. It is recommended to avoid these situations and eat at home, preferably alone.

Usually it can happen to get very hungry during that time and considering that you are devoted keeping your diet, try drinking a cold glass of water; it will be helpful keeping away the hunger pangs.

After finishing the crash diet, don’t start celebrating the end of dieting with food, otherwise all that effort will be in vain. Continue to eat keeping a balanced diet once you are done with the fad one.

Fat diets are well known about their promise of bringing some instant weight loss.  First of all you should pay your doctor a visit before starting any diet, especially a fad one, because these diets are not among the ideal ones concerning balance between loosing weight and preventing health issues.

In conclusion, the only way to lose weight and still have a healthy nutrition is to eat less and maintain a daily physical activity. This way with fresh fruits and vegetables, fat-free or low-fat dairy, boiled meat not fried and some physical exercises you will find out that losing weight is pretty easy and best of all is healthy. Also anyone can try these diets, but remember that after some time keeping this nutrition you will need to see a doctor in order to check that you do not have any problems. The doctor will then guide you to continue your diet if it is healthy enough or to stop because it will heart not only your body but your entire system. Diets are usually made for short time use, not for becoming a way of eating, and that’s why you should think twice before continuing, or starting over a diet or a fad diet.
